The Lynbrook campus was overrun by students in navy blue and characters from the world of Studio Ghibli as Lynbrook’s junior class of 2024 transformed the campus with decorations of famous Studio Ghibli characters. Two Lynbrook students fought against Studio Ghibli monsters and their leader, star football player of the Woodside Wildcats to protect Lynbrook for their upcoming homecoming game.

With expressive acting, the skit and voice actors led the co-ed, girls, and boys dances onto the stage. The dances brought bold, contagious energy onto the stage with their matching outfits, stunt-filled choreography, and chic vibes from the dancers. The coordination and energy encouraged loud cheers from the audience which continued on when the skit concluded with a victorious ending for the Lynbrook students.

Members of the class of 2024 rushed onto the stage at the end to perform their class dance to the song, “24K Magic” by Bruno Mars.

“These last few weeks have been very stressful, but I was able to dismiss the stress because of all the excitement I had for our performances,” said Derek Li, a junior and dance leader. “Today was super fun for all of us, and I am really happy that we all did a good job and were able to hype up our audience with our skit and dances.”
