Farewell Rally 2022

All classes donned red to support the Class of 2022 in the final rally of the year, the Farewell Rally. On top of traditional performances by the cheer team and the Valkyries, LHS Chandani and Jalwa made their rally debuts with spirited Bollywood dances. Boys volleyball, track and field, swimming, boys tennis and boys golf also made appearances, performing stunts ranging from balancing acts to racket smashes. After Lynbrook choir’s seniors sang the Lynbrook alma mater, ASB Recognition recognized ASB adviser Jason Lee, who will be stepping down from his role in student government after five years. With speakers blasting “22” by Taylor Swift, emotions ran high for seniors who reminisced about their high school journeys and said goodbye to the rally experience.

“This last rally was everything I could ask for,” senior and ASB Spirit member Archana Pisupati said. “Coming to Lynbrook, rallies were always the great spectacles I’d look forward to, and never did I imagine that getting involved in class events would one day land me in ASB Spirit. Looking up at the entire student body from the floor of the quad or stadium, you get to appreciate the best part about Lynbrook: the spirit.”
