Informed voting: Guide to measures on the 2020 General Election ballot

The California General Election will be Nov. 3, and all registered voters in California will receive a vote-by-mail ballot for the election, which has been mailed out by county elections offices starting Oct. 5. Ballots can be returned by mail or dropped off at a secure drop box, polling place, vote center or county elections office by Nov. 3. Learn more about state propositions and local measures and hear arguments for and against measures to cast an informed vote. These measures have the potential to affect pertinent matters including rent control, criminal justice and consumer privacy.
