Homecoming: Dance 22-23

Flashing lights illuminated the cafeteria as students danced their hearts out to their favorite songs on Oct. 22 for the Lynbrook Homecoming dance. After a three year hiatus due to COVID-19, students enjoyed their first traditional in-person homecoming dance full of games, free desserts and music. Students played carnival-themed inflatable baseball and basketball, jenga, bean bag toss, and danced to hit songs from artists Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, Drake and more.

For freshmen, sophomores and juniors, this was their first homecoming dance, and for many, it served as a memorable moment in their high school experience.

“We grew up watching movies depicting the typical high school experience, and it’s nice to finally get it,” junior Siri Ratnam said. “Once we’re in college we’ll be able to look back on these memories and remember all the fun we had.”
