Pops of green and red interspersed across a sea of navy blue with the Class of 2026 on Wednesday, embodying their homecoming theme of Squid Games. In their skit, contestants and guests from Lynbrook and El Camino High School were invited to compete in the annual Squid Games, which consisted of red light green light, tug of war and a raffle draw.
While the Lynbrook and El Camino contestants seemed to form a collaboration in the beginning, the fleeting connection was eventually overturned by El Camino’s unfortunate betrayal. Throughout the scenes, stunning choreographies from boys dance, co-ed dance and girls dance animated the skit’s storytelling, providing suspense and relief. In the end, through twists of love, betrayal and elimination, Lynbrook emerged victoriously.
“I’m extremely excited to have performed in our homecoming skit for the Class of 2026 again,” junior and skit actor Joyce Cheung said. “None of this would be possible without our talented actors and dancers; I hope Lynbrook enjoyed our Squid Games.”
