With the theme of “Fly Me to the Moon” welcoming the students in large, glowing letters, the senior Class of 2024 danced the night away during senior prom at Levi’s Stadium United Club on Saturday, May 25.
The live DJ mixed classic throwback songs like “California Gurls” by Katy Perry and recent releases like “Karma” by Jojo Siwa. The night ended with “24K Magic” by Bruno Mars as a tribute to the Class of 2024.
“I really enjoyed senior prom, whether it was dancing in the mosh pit or gambling at the blackjack tables,” senior Tristan Lim said.
The venue included a photobooth, card games and a mosh pit.
The food provided included fried chicken tenders, veggie spring rolls and different flavors of cupcakes, which were continuously replenished by live chefs. There was also a balcony available for students to view the stadium’s football field.
“There was a lot of planning that went into senior prom because we had to consider our budget, the venue, the theme and more,” Class of 2024 vice president Dara Lin said. “But, overall, it was a lot of fun planning and I think the event itself went really smoothly.”
