Senior and Valhalla photographer Joshua Chiang’s passion for photography was inspired by his grandfather who documented every moment of Chiang’s childhood with a film camera.
Chiang portrays realistic aspects throughout his photos.
“A good photo should capture the truth — true emotions, true colors and true backgrounds,” said Chiang. “I don’t edit too much or overdramatize faces or backgrounds. I chose the field because there are trees far in the background (the further the better to get optimal bokeh or blur).”
